TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Dorset Swim is not responsible for supervision of the toilet / changing rooms / shower areas at the venue.
  • Dorset Swim nor any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.
  • Dorset Swim reserves the right to remove from our swim school, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving, or displaying disruptive behaviour.
  • While we currently allow parents/guardians and siblings to watch the lessons from the poolside, this is done on the understanding that this will be done quietly and in a manner that does not disrupt the teaching. If the noise levels become too great or siblings become unruly, we reserve the right to ask people to wait in their cars while the lessons take place. PLEASE remember this pool side should be treated like any other classroom.
  • You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to -date should this change by or emailing dorsetswim@gmail.com AND updating your ClassforKids profile.
  • You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use and keep us up to date should this change using the given email address.
  • Please ensure you arrive "swim ready" no more than 5 minutes prior to your lesson and that you leave within 10 minutes after your lesson. This allows for the people booked before and after you to have enough space to park, to sit and use the changing facilities.
  • Payment is required for the term in advance please. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
  • Where a booking is not paid for, you may not join that class.
  • You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours prior to the class.
  • We do not issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances or circumstances beyond our control however they have been caused.
  • If there are any sessions cancelled by us due to teacher illness, Dorset Swim will try to offer a make-up session, or parents will be credited. 
  • Once a place has been booked on a course, there will be no refund given if cancelled less than 14 days prior to the start date. Courses cancelled with more than 14 days’ notice will be entitled to a refund of monies paid, but there will be a £15.00 administration fee.
  • Our preferred payment option is via the ClassforKids booking system. If you are unable to use this system for a specific reason, please let us know and we may be able to arrange other ways to pay. These other options will incur additional fees of £1.50 per transaction and/or the appropriate platform fees which are levied by the platform and may change from time to time.
